At the heart of the old town stands the mighty Town Hall, which underwent quite a few changes since its beginnings. Its events with a great atmosphere are well worth a visit.
The former town hall is a building of town authorities and urban excellence. The late baroque house from the 18th century has a highlighted central axis and a large stone portal with the Brežice coat-of-arms and year 1769. There is also a small balcony with baroque railings and a triangular pediment with a painted sundial. The roof boasts four Baroque vases with agaves.
It is said that everyone who comes to Brežice should visit the Town Hall. Why?
The Town Hall includes:
Brežice Tourist Information Centre: Friendly tourist informers, the organization of guided tours, the preparation of attractive tourist packages, a short movie about the local tourist offer in 7 languages, a diverse range of local souvenirs. Learn more about the Brežice Tourist Information Centre.
