Ajdovska cave or Primožičeva cave is located at the western edge of dispersed settlement Silovec pri Sromljah. As an archaeological site, it was recognized in 1959 when land owners found late - Bronze age objects. As the research showed, traces of Roman era were also present in the cave. Before WW2 and afterwards, the cave was used as a storage room anfor agricultural and winery tools and accessories. During the WW2, a group of partisans of the Kozjansko division were hiding in the cave. The cave was listed in cadastre in June 17, 1988. You can visit the cave within the Sromeljska footway. At the farm in Silovec 20, they will also invite you to visit the chapel and the wine cellar.
