Jovsi is a vast area of moored grasslands along the Sotla river, protected as a monument of nature and area of Natura 2000. Jovsi is the home to several rare and endangered species. You can learn about surrounding nature by seeing a film, information panels and other animations, or you can listen to various theme lectures in Information room in the centre of Kapele, a village between Brežice and Bizeljsko. You can also take a tour of Koščeva pottrail, which leads from Kapele to the edge of Jovsi. You can learn about nature by observing and reading the information panels. There is a viewing tower where one can observe life of animals with binoculars and telescopes.
