How to get to us

Čatež and Posavje lie in the Municipality of Brežice in the southeast of Slovenia at the confluence of the rivers Sava and Krka. It can be easily accessed by different types of transportation. Chose bellow how you want to come to us.

By Car

Čatež and Brežice can be easily accessed by car. The destination lies next to the A2 highway that leads from the Austrian border and the Karavanke Tunnel (to the northwest) to the Croatian border in Obrežje (to the southeast). The road infrastructure is well developed, suitable for all types of vehicles, and most of the time without any traffic jams. Other supporting services (filling stations…) are frequent and easily accessible.

If you have an electric car, we provide several charging stations. You need to buy a vignette in order to use the highway.

By Plane

You can arrive by plane to the airport Brnik (Ljubljana) or Zagreb. From there, use other means of transportation to come to our destination. If you are coming from Zagreb, you will have to cross the border, for which you need a valid personal ID or passport.

The Jože Pučnik Airport is located 130 km from Brežice and the Zagreb Airport is located 50 km from Brežice.

By Train

There are two train stations at the destination: one in Brežice and one in Dobova. The Dobova Train Station is next to Terme Paradiso. At the Brežice Train Station, you can find a bike rental station of the Bržkolo system or you can take the town bus to the Brežice town centre.

By Bus

You can also arrive by bus. There are many bus stations at the destination that enable easy access to the majority of places within the municipality. Buses run regularly.
